PipelinePaid plan

Remembering who you talked to

Pipeline is a CRM sized for one person: import contacts, define your own columns, and track who is where. The board and the import are free — no per-action credit — because a CRM you are metered on is a CRM you avoid using, and an incomplete pipeline is worse than none. Only the AI actions cost credits. What makes it different from a spreadsheet is that it shares a brain with everything else, so a follow-up draft already knows the product, the segment and the last thing that was said.

I've talked to 30 people across DMs, email and calls. I don't remember who said what or who to follow up with. A real CRM is overkill and I'll never set it up.

What you get

Artifacts, not adjectives.

  • A kanban board with columns you define — not a fixed sales process borrowed from an enterprise tool.
  • Contact import by CSV or paste, plus contacts arriving automatically from Outreach.
  • Follow-up drafts that reference the actual last exchange and the right segment's value proposition.
  • A durable record of who you have touched, at what stage, and what was said.

What it isn't

The half that decides whether this is right for you.

  • Not HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive. No deal forecasting, no team permissions, no territory management, and no setup project.
  • Not a pipeline analytics product. There is no reporting suite, on purpose, until enough founders ask for one.
  • Not an enrichment database. It remembers what you and John put in it.

What it costs

The board and contact import are free — 1 credit only for AI actions like drafting a follow-up or enriching a contact. Storage and the UI are never metered.

One shared credit pool across every job. You are only charged for work you approve — a failed generation costs nothing.

What has to happen first

Needs a paid plan. Works best downstream of Outreach, where contacts arrive already populated — a founder-scale CRM with an empty board is a worse note-taking app.

John prepares. You approve.

Everything here arrives as a draft in your inbox with its credit cost shown before you decide. Nothing is sent, published or spent without your explicit yes, and there is no setting that changes that — it is the architecture rather than a preference. The reasoning is written up here.

CRM: common questions

Is the CRM free to use?

The board and the import are, with no per-action credit. Only AI actions cost anything, at 1 credit each. Metering the act of recording a contact would mean founders keep incomplete pipelines, and a pipeline with gaps is worth less than no pipeline at all.

How is this different from a spreadsheet?

The follow-up. A spreadsheet remembers the name; this knows which segment they belong to, what your value proposition is for that segment, and what they last said — so drafting the next message is one click rather than twenty minutes of reconstruction.

Can I get my contacts out?

Yes. Everything here is text you can export, and that is deliberate: a tool that holds your pipeline hostage is a tool you should not have put your pipeline into.
